In 2026, Wilmington’s UpTilt Film Fest will proudly celebrate its 10th anniversary — a major milestone for North Carolina’s only women+ film festival. As we expand our local partnerships for this landmark year, we’re offering incredible sponsorship opportunities. UpTilt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to showcasing short films by women and gender non-conforming filmmakers from around the world. Entirely volunteer-run, we are committed to championing inclusion and spotlighting diverse voices shaping the future of film.
Our 10th year will take place at Wilmington’s iconic Thalian Hall on March 20th-22nd, alongside dynamic social events throughout the city — offering sponsors meaningful visibility with creatives, cultural influencers, and an engaged local audience. An UpTilt scholarship was the reason I completed my short doc, 'Won't You Be My Dumpling', a deterrent to Asian hate showcasing the universality of fun, food and humanity. I had given up hope on this concept but, now I am paying it forward and sponsored a scholarship in 2025.
